I believe they can’t raise the torque but can uprate to 485 hp same torque though. The 500 hp from those years use a bigger turbo. Seeing that your Canadian I’d talk to diesel spec out of Montreal about a non factory safe tune .
lovesthedrive Thanks this. -

Turn the fuel rail pressure up to 16lbs, speed up,don’t know max torque on Paccar, I’d say you could go to 1600-1650
Most wont max them. -
You're maxed out by the looks of it.

A 13 speed will be more drivable because you can split the gears. Since it’s out of warranty I’d just find a place and see if they’ll put the 510/1850 tune in it.

Check the torque rating on the trans.. most are 1,800. If so the max you can go is 1,750.

To turn up through a dealership they have to send a request to another country who only goes by turbo and transmission specs . That’s why I recommended aftermarket through a known good company. 18 speed or 13 speed will only make a noticeable difference in top few gears. Being Canadian he probably hauls 100,000 lbs or 87000 lbs if a tandem.

Using a desktop computer. Had to reorient the picture.
