I have a tire that is swelling and I might as well replace my drives.

They were good enough to get me started but I knew the time was going to come sooner or later that I just would replace them. Even though it's just one tire at this point I think I would just rather replace them all.

I do not nearly put the miles on that you guys put on your trucks. So I'm not looking for a super crazy high price top tier Tire.

But I am also not looking for cheap Chinese junk that is just problematic right as soon as they get put on. I don't want any tires they're just out of round as soon as they're put on to the rim or any of that nonsense.

I need more of like a middle-of-the-road tire that will ride right and wear right. Like Dayton or Cooper?

I have to call around to tire shops tomorrow and see what they have available but just curious will you guys use and if you have any prices that would be helpful too.

Yokohama, Kelly, Toyo, Hercules. That would be my top choice on something that will dry rot before worn out.

I live 30 miles from Cooper/Roadmaster headquarters. Have friends that have, or do work there. Had one set on drives starting out, did ok at best. But tried a set on pickup, and a car years back. Spent more time putting air in them than driving them. The have the ability to build a good tire. But seldom do.

They change quality with thier stock value.

Yes that is exactly my situation.

Something that will dry rot before it wears out.

I 100% value Michelin tires. But its not cost effective to guys like my farmer buddy who drives under 10,000 miles a year. Have to work with in your means and not be stupid about it.

Tire inventories out west are really low. It's not a matter of what you want, but what's available. Hope it's better out where you're at

If I ran less then 50k a year then I’d probably go with Hankooks, Kelly’s, or Yokohama’s. Especially if you keep in a 300 mile range where heat or fuel mileage is negligible. Good luck friend.

Otherwise you know I love my Bridgestone and Michelin’s. :)

I’ve had good luck with Hankook DL12’s in the past. Currently I have about 100k on a set of Cooper Roadmasters, my local shop was running a sale on them last year when I was in and out of dairies and feed lots all the time. So far I’ve had no issues with them.

Check out double coins as well. Had good use out of them on my trailer running up and down gravel roads, i put alot of abuse on my tires and so far double coins are the only ones thats held up . im going to try them on the drives my next set
