    1) No one cares that you speak Spanish in Canada, that's only good for certain States.
    2) No one reads the Summary or Objective in trucking. They know you need a job that pays money.
    3) Top of your resume should be Work Experience, bring it up.
    4) No one in trucking will care that you're a plumber. But leave the delivery driver part on there.
    5) Skills, and Education & Training leave to the bottom of resume.
    6) Be sure to include any soft skills and awards you've received from any previous employment.
    7) Hobbies, interests, and any communality organizations that you're involved in, can help.

You need to sell yourself, remember that. Your resume is a sales letter that you're using to inform and impress.

Side note, I did 5 years worth of straight-truck, single axle before jumping into a semi, and yes that experience DOES count, hence I tell folks you should be driving a straight truck for at least a year before moving up. But rarely do they listen. From the kitchen/warehouse and into a semi, and they cry no one will hire them. You need to prove some level of competence to gain confidence of employers.

    Good luck, sir.

    Russell The Trucker Thanks this.

You should not post your resume in a public forum. Bison will take you as as a trainee. Either 1 or 2 years. If you leave before completing the training there is a huge fee.
