In case you have not heard

I’m still waiting for someone to show where a vaccine has eradicated or stopped a coronavirus?
Last time I checked the flu and the common cold were still around.

 

I really do enjoy these debates. Too bad grown, mature adults can't keep the conversation out of the mud. These petty personal attacks seem to ruin most open debates.

The tidbits of truth and links that get posted, to expose view points from sources I don't either know about or view regularly, help expand the opinions. Pro, con or neutral.
I, like most on this site, seek the truth. Many times it's been said. Numbers don't lie. But the numbers can be manipulated to support a lie. Inclusion or exclusion of certain facts can alter a result.

We collectively won't know the truth about these shots for many years.
How any expert can say, with confidence, the long term effects of the shot will be. The shots have only been around a few months.

The doctors can say what past vaccines results were. This shot has been produced very quick. New technology, the doctors and scientists don't agree. I think that's what drives the controversy.

The funny thing is in all of these discussions I’ve never seen anyone call someone dumb for getting the shot nor I have I seen anyone trying to talk someone out of getting the shot if they want to. It’s simply one side partaking in the experiment and imposing their will for others to do the same.

What we’ve seen with Covid is a great example of how the people who say “Trust the Science”:

1) Only read science that agrees with the opinion they started with
2) Don’t really understand the articles they did read and
3) Don’t like people who read more and comprehend more being able to freely speak to others about the truth
