i have 2013 volvo d13. as far as oil I am pretty set on rotella, will pick it up at walmart for $12 a gallon. what about filters. I will need 2 oil filters, 1 bypass, 1 fuel and 1 fule water separator. dealer quoted $160, I can pick up Fleetguard kit off ebay for $84 ...what's your experience with filters. my friend says its worth extra more money for good quality filters...

Fleet guard is Cummins brand filters, They work just fine. Don’t forget your power steering filter and fluid change if you’ve never done it. along with coolant filter.

Before you change your oil, get an oil analysis kit from blackstone and follow the instructions, get an OA done then get it done at least every oil change.

Fleetgaurd for the win. But I'd still pick them up at a dealer or service center.

You get some counterfeit bs off the net, you'll hate life.
