Why is country music stereotypically synonymous with trucking?

If that's the case, some good old fashioned hard rock, or a smooth RnB croon could get the job done. Of course I also don't have the pipes for singing country or playing string instruments, so I'd be tossed out the door by an angry mob pretty quick. (Then get knocked out by a mugger and have my wallet nicked)

A sad, Elton John style song about the one time an introvert tries to go out on the town and ends up getting a nasty taste of life. "Why I shut my blinds"(aka, the FOGO ballad) Fear Of Going Out

Maybe it's time to start some emo/lonely person country-n-blues sub genre.

That's how it goes. Even your own thread isn't posted in the correct category. This area is supposed to be for those seeking advice. Threads never stay on topic. Once the questions are answered, it's over. I usually stop watching the thread. In fact, I just stopped watching one of ny own threads because people completely ignored what I wrote and took it somewhere else. Welcome to TTR.

Country is just pop music about tractors and dirt roads.

Hell Bon Jovi has a couple songs that are more country than what passes for country these days.

I like ‘traditional’ or Texas/Western country when driving. Not a big fan of the pop country.

Especially a fan of songs that have to deal with travel and life on the road. Usually about the rodeo lifestyle, which is pretty similar besides the fact we don’t ride animals lol.

Country music is about life. Especially older country. I recently heard an interview -Whisperin’ Bill Anderson was interviewing Tom T Hall (Tom just passed away, aged 85). Anyway, Tom said most of his songs were true stories, he just had to write them down and put music to them, then throw in some irony and/or humor, you got a country song. Tom died having millions and millions in the bank, I guess somebody liked his music. Including me.

It’s not their fault. It’s their parent’s fault. Long ago, children were bred. That was the education that parents gave children before they started school. Children learned manners and proper behavior before they were able to speak. It was a matter of pride for parents to do this.

When parents decided that their children should get their primary education from school, parents shucked their responsibility. How are children to learn responsibility from irresponsible parents?

They grow up. By time they're 18, they're no longer children, and they know, or are learning right from wrong .

Is there an age when people raised by #### parents are responsible for their ways, or are we just always gonna blame others?
