I will miss most of the Iron Skillets. They had reasonably good food. The
Country Prides were like playing food roulette; some were terrible and
some were good. Best one I know of is in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

I only had $21 on there but it was the principle. Pilot didn't turn their card off.

There are only 2 TA/Petros in WA. My guess is he means Spokane. They have a wood clad building.

That's the one. Pretty nice campus.

Good service shop techs, the exception being the big overconfident gal that works the counter in service. She is the proverbial sand in the gears of the operation. Won't provide any information about when tire will be fixed, generally clueless about what's going on there, but in fact the face of the operation to the public. They need to move her inside to ring up coffee sales because she doesn't know the first thing about truck service. Her initial reaction to any service request, despite the fact that the entire shop is empty is "Well it's gonna be awhile". How long? "I have no idea but it's gonna be a long time". Her first instinct seems to be to try and scare any customers away rather than take on the job. In the end "Well it's gonna be awhile" meant it took about an hour and a half or so to get a flat replaced. Certainly not horrible. I feel bad for the techs that have to interface with this chick.

They must be trying to cut costs. The last couple locations I've stopped at had this sign on the coffee creamers. I typically don't like creamer but TA coffee needs it. Wish they would get on board with the bean 2 cup, like Pilot and Loves have...

Well Dang, they had this coffee at the TA in OKC a couple days ago. I wish they would offer this at all locations. No creamer needed. This stuff is excellent!!!

Travel Centers of America is failing and will declare bankruptcy within five years.

i just want to know 1 thing..

how do you really know, they
will be bankrupt with-in 5 years?

I have read thru nearly (not all) the responses, and i cannot say, i read where anyone asked you
    this question

did you sit at the lunch counter and listened to the BS being thrown around?

    or maybe the cb radio?

unless you have POSITIVE PROOF, you are only speculating on conjecture, hearsay, and most
    importantly, a whole lotta BS.

Why bother with putting out creamer?!? Will it make the apathetic employees any more money? Indifference is the TA way.

How could anyone know they will go under in 5 years. Obviously someone with no business experience. Have you seen their financial statement. You should just post that service, cleanliness and quality if the employees is slipping. None of us know more than that
