Well my part did finally make it to FCC.
Awesome job guys for getting one so quickly!!!
(I was worried it was going to be much longer)
They are sending it eastward with a Driver and I’ll get it from him/her on Monday or whenever they arrive. Dealership is closed Monday for the holiday so I’ll drop it off first thing Tuesday morning and then see where I am in the Post Holiday Line.Last edited: Sep 3, 2021

Ok, FCC OTR drivers, I've got a curious question. My east coast running experience is severely limited. Can anyone chime in on some of the more...stressful/challenging/headache-inducing locations yall regularly deliver to out there? Or really anywhere in general? How often do you have to go to these places? I'm talking routes that weren't designed for trucks that you have to take, tight docking areas, places that require multiple spotters just to get into, things like that.
-
Really most of our customers have plenty of elbow room and most of my loads are just a simple Drop n Hook so it’s a simple back into a spot. One of the Tight Spots in KC, they hired a local driver to use a day cab to move the loads to our local yard for us to pick up.
as for routes, ive never been on it but I once heard a rumor of some customer up in the Northeast that wasn’t designed for a Sleeper with a 53’ Trailer but I don’t know anything about it.
to be honest, if I have issues with parking this truck it’s normally going to be fining parking at the end of my shift but that’s because of how and when I run. Which is my choice.
most of the customers, at least in the Southeast area that I mostly run, are fairly large facilities with plenty of room.M22 rockcrusher and RubberDuck473 Thank this. -
Running over a curb at a receiver?
Hard breaking event?
Or case by case basis and if things seem to be an ongoing problem, then the driver facing camera with audio gets turned on?
Not saying I or anybody else plans on making a mistake. But, #### happens sometimes nobody is perfect.
And I'm assuming they would tell you before they turned on that driver facing camera with audio, right? -
BigR and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

That driver cams are audio capable. That's according to what they said when we first got them maybe 4 years ago. But there not turned on nor are the drivers facing cameras, if it bugs a driver they can just flip down the visor it covers it up, doesn't bother me
BigR and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this. -

Has anyone herd anything about a big truck crash on I45 n in ferris TX. Today I left the love's truck stop this morning around 0830 a truck ran into the median and between two bridge overpass and crashed below on the two lane road then burned completely up. One heck of a impact. Poor driver.
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
When I was in a Green Truck, every time I tripped the camera sensor, (breaking too hard, bump a dock too hard, etc) I’d smile really big, wave annoyingly, and send the current Safety Director a huge “HELLO SCOTT”cdavis188 and M22 rockcrusher Thank this.
