Use to be more of them, but our fellow drivers have ruined it. Wasn’t a dream

    Screw pilot/flying J and Loves
Agree some of the T/A, Petro are run down but at least. The mega ####
box fleets don’t usually frequent them to much.
Do love them and the independent out of the way places. No dumb ### drivers idling when it’s nice out or the constant smell of urine wafting thru the air.

    TheLoadOut and buddyd157 Thank this.

Hell no some dumb ### would want to sit on it and rip it out of the wall. You would be surprised what some of the trucking pigs do to facilities

Well goes to the fact that the industry recruits anyone with a pulse and that can pass a physical.
Most don’t come into the industry because they want to. It is a job of last resort. Some were never taught proper hygiene nor do they card. Some people are not cut out to be drivers. Just like some are not cut out for other professions.

Sounds like the main problem TA/ Petro has is they don't have any money left to expand. They put everything they had up for cash and only got 200 million. If they built 4 new truck stops they would probably spend 200 million. That's probably why they are trying the trying to do franchises and they might put up some money to help remodel some older independence truck stop and bring it under the TA/Petro name as a Express location. They have IHOP remodeling their restaurants to open and hopefully make money.

The service TA/Petro gives drivers is going downhill fast. The restaurants closing and charging for reserver parking the driver rewards change they did. Nothing they are doing is helping drivers.. I thought I read the main reason for IHOP restaurants is they will remodel the old restaurants and TA/Petro is hoping the IHOP brand will bring in more 4 wheelers. Since drivers are not going to restaurants or spending money inside truck stop.. Now no employees to run the restaurants. I stopped at Petro in Scranton weeks ago so e restaurant was open. It took almost 1 hours to get food. They were telling driver if you order anything and this was breakfast it would be 45 minute wait.

People with poor hygiene habits are found in all jobs, occupations, and professions.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.

All it takes is just one bad apple to ruin the whole bushel.
