I was gonna roll down there this afternoon — didn’t feel like being raced outta there though. Specially not after an already long day.

Sir, I see you’re a bit short on tarps, would you like to borrow one of the 11 I brought with me for a load that turned out to be no tarp?

 

you ever been to some of the terminals in Houston?

they make Dundalk feel like heaven.

 

No I have not... but I’ve done plenty of time in Dundalk. We hauled cranes and transformers out of there when I was an operator and BMW’s and Volvo’s when I was car hauling. It ain’t to bad up there as long as you don’t go far off the beaten path.

 

None of our tarps have tags so you never know what your getting and I suck at judging sizes. It worked out alright I guess

 

the worst thing Dundalk has going for it is getting your gate pass

 

When you get stuck behind the guy that doesn't have a TWIC card...

 

Started in 6. Waited 15 minutes no movement. Went to 7 — I’m next up — guy can’t figure out how to make a phone call 30 minutes in. We all back up. I go to OD lane. 20 minutes later I get a pass.

like an hour to go through just the phone booths this morning. All to get told my machines are on hold!
