I'm a new AZ driver, i talked to a recruiter from Challenger for a new driver position with no experience, this is a job for a i think a regional trucking cross border, the only problem i have is i don't have a vehicle of my own to go home, question is how many times do regional truckers comes back home at night time during weekdays?
How often do regional truckers be at home during weekdays?

Short answer, all runs at challenger are basically regional. Even when I was OTR, I found myself at Cambridge probably 3 times a week. Basically every other night I was back there.
They have rooms at challenger Cambridge, where you can sleep on a bed in a private room, you can also shower and stuff like that. Or you can sleep in your truck in the yard.
What I did for a short while was when I wanted to go home I would park my truck at a supermarket and go home if I needed to get some supplies. As long as nobody complains you won't have any problems.BigHossVolvo Thanks this. -

Waiting times at docks were usually an hour or less. I think the longest I have waited was 3 hours.BigHossVolvo Thanks this. -

Just today alone I saw two different challenger team trucks where both drivers were wearing masks while driving. That has to be annoying lol
