That is what an $806 variable speed water pump for a DD15 looks like.

Yes a 5x4 twin stick setup would be a 20 spd. I’ve seen a 7x4 setup too, but probably the most sought after is the 6x4 with OD in both transmissions. I wouldn’t mind having a 1241D for a future setup.....

Brother in law had a old international twin screw that use to be a concrete truck. It had a 6V53 Detroit with a 5x4, you’d use every one of those gears lol.

Friend in Arizona still runs twin sticks in his Pete’s today, but he also has 475+ Cats under the hood too. One of his toys is an A model KW with a 8V71 / 4x4. It has a little short flatbed about 12 foot long he uses to haul blocks and such, kind of a shop truck.....

Keep in mind, not all twin stick setups have 2 gear sticks in the floor. Some have just 1 stick with a special shift knob for the auxiliary......

I did get stuck in Denver with a dpf issue and ran the Espar. I agree it does amazing for how little it is.

I remember seeing some that were air shifted auxiliary. Just a selector knob instead of a stick.

No truer statement has ever been made.

I still recall riding in dads transtar 238 6x4 on hendrickson pulling a set of doubles. 8 axles was alot for the little girl.
