I preferred fueling there, until they renegotiated the fuel discount and it went from about 75 cents per gallon to just 16. Now the best discount is with TA/Petro (even though they are my LEAST liked chain) and I'm getting almost as good a discount there.
With the card / loyalty for Loves, if you don't use it for (IIRC) 6 months, the number goes inactive and then it just says "canceled" when you scan it at the register. It seems that you MUST use it to fuel, or it goes inactive. The customer service number also seems incapable of reactivating dead numbers, but they can transfer any points to a new card after you get it from the fuel desk. Since all I cared about was wifi.... Didn't bother me, I got free wifi and just bought the shower. -
2021: BEWARE! Seems Loves hasn't fixed the bug. If you're using their wifi anyone can steal your points. Just lost all but 16 points to someone in Florida. Found that my VPN was off during this time. Was using the Loves basic internet. Called customer service and opened a case with number. I guess we'll see if I get my points back....
Harry Flashman Thanks this. -
Don't let your points stock up too high, spend them.
Harry Flashman Thanks this. -
Just an update:
Love's didn't return my stolen points.
Hard lesson learned.
Also NEVER use public WIFI without VPN because you never know if an APP has a security bug.
The Loves APP seems it is still not secure. Better in my opinion to NOT install it. My points were scooped due a bug in the Loves APP while using Loves public wifi. Others have reported the same.Harry Flashman Thanks this. -
I NEVER use anyone's wifi... i only use my phones or my jetpack
Harry Flashman and kemosabi49 Thank this. -

This happened to me.
I almost never use thier wifi.
However I needed to purchase fuel at a stop with a bad phone signal (Idaho) I connected to wifi so I could use the app the purchase fuel.
The next day someone in Cottondale Florida stole $800 worth of points that I accumulated.
Be very wary. -
This is what someone got with my points plus some other small food purchases
