    Youre STILL married, same question...

I dunno, seems a bit weird to complain about things that you could do things about, she changed, probably, but so have you, was it ALL for the better?

They all were. Turn into their mothers 90% of the time. As men in our 20's.....we all think with the little head. By the time we're 40 its too late. Dad tried to warn us......we didn't understand. BTW....Turn it around....works exactly the same the other way around. Human nature is very strange, but consistent.

There's a saying, it's cheaper to keep her, that's the only reason we're still married, 7 yrs ago I was seriously contemplating divorce, then Colorado changed our divorce laws, I make almost 5x what she makes, under the new law, based on today's current real estate market, I'd be living in my car, if I recall correctly, she'd get about 38% of my income.

    Speaking for myself.
It would have been cheaper to keep her. 25 years and WE changed. EVERYTHING was an argument. If I said the fish in the ocean were wet, she said they weren't.
Within 3 years of paying her off. It was/is a good investment, for me.
Enough marital bliss talk, let's get back to truck inventory. :occasion5:

I have a stainless steel press pot that is like 30 ounces and an electric water kettle that was really cheap. Boils water quick and takes up very little room. I like stout coffee so I don’t drink much from any truck stop/

My unusual but handy stuff includes (1) a bag of a carabiners to replace bent or missing hooks and chain links on trailer doors (2) a pirate's spyglass my young nephew gave me. It's a toy but it's brass and works great for seeing distant restaurants, dock or trailer numbers, birds, and women - I admit it. (3) a steel hatchet for chopping ice. It has saved me from chaining up twice in about 4 years when I had empty trailers and was just plain spinning my drives. You'd be surprised how easy it is to get moving again by clearing the ice or packed snow off a foot or so of pavement. I've used the hatchet to help others too. (4) a 4-lb one-handed sledgehammer for unruly trailer doors and tandem pins. (5) not very unusual, but blocks of wood for bracing the tandems when they won't slide, and a white noise app on my phone for blocking out noise from reefers, idlers, traffic, etc.

I had a driver look at me like I lost my mind when I asked if he had a pair of vice grips in his truck... "You expect me to bring tools with me?"....
