Why not? Its not required to have 1/4 fenders in front of tires. Only mudflaps of some sort behind the tires.

Im curious how you plan on rigging that up, cause if its not attached on bottom in some way it will just shred the mudflap as youndrive

Back in the 60s and early 70s they pulled the flaps from behind the drives and put them in front of the drives when they were hooked up to a trailer. I don't remember my dad being concerned about shredding them in front of the axle, only hanging them on the landing gear

Quarter fenders can be bought for about 100.00.. a cheap set of junk mud flaps are 50.00 and you still gota buy some sort of hangers
...thats a no brainer to me

Quarter fenders will keep rocks from getting thrown up and hitting the back of the cab. In a day cab with a rear window, I highly recommend them. Otherwise, it is a company or personal preference. Mudflaps, of course, are required if you are bobtailing.

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.
