NY is now poised to ban all diesel powered vehicles.

The one problem...if they ban them entirely, as in not allowed to even drive thru the state, the rest of New England is screwed. They'll have to build a really long bridge to go out and around, or work a deal with Canada and use them as a bridge....which would suck because you'd have to enter thru Michigan and go all the way thru Montreal.

 

Bunch of spineless feckless morons looking for a photo opt. It appears they are only banning in state sales a couple of decades from now. So much to do about nothing since normal people are already fleeing their tyranny. If they actually believed in the nonsense they push they would ban all private jet flights. Lol. We know that ain't happening.

For all of the legislative virtue signaling there still exists a floor that everything must rest on. It’s called reality. Getting rid of all petrochemicals would cost Trillions of dollars in new infrastructure. Who is paying for that?!? We are $28 Trillion in debt with no way to ever pay that back and we rely on a fiat currency (dollar) whose worth is based entirely on perception instead of intrinsic value (gold/silver).

I do like how aggressive liberals are in pushing their agenda in deep blue states though. I wish conservative state’s Governors and legislatures would understand the lesson and be as aggressive in pushing ours.

 

The reality is they can't get rid of fossil fuels. Even if every vehicle was to become electric. How do you create electricity? Via fossil fuels.

But what about all the wind mills and solar panels? You ask. Simple. Those can't produce enough. So we'll have to crank up the fossil fuels to power those electric vehicles.
