GPS guided me to take this road

    I remember making a rookie mistake like this. there were 2 semi trucks in front of me taking the same exit. I just assumed they were both going to the same truck stop, so I just followed them without really thinking and zoned out. by the time I snapped back into reality I realized they passed the truck stop and the road we were on was 50 miles of tiny farm roads. took like 30mins to get back on the right path

    Back in 12-14 there was some bad map data about a bogus weight restriction on I-80 in Nebraska. Some of the GPS units would try and route you out and around it. It took them _years_ to get it straitened out.

    Not an issue if there is enough grey matter up there, but for what they charge for a navigational device you'd think they would do better...

    That construction on 80 out near the WY UT border. Garmin kept saying that 80 was closed.

    Not sure of the reason. But sun eruptions are said to affect electronics. Airlines have to recalibrate often.
