    Hello all.

Sorry for my absence. There was a large gap where no one had any questions for me, so I stopped coming on.

Just to provide you an update, I'm no longer a warranty manager for the company I work for, however that doesn't mean that I can't help you anymore.

I did warranty for my company for many years and have a lot of experience with it, my position change doesn't remove my experience. I also still have access to the same resources that I previously had.

If you're still looking for questions or advice about warranty, please feel free to ask and I'll provide you with the best information I can.

Klleetrucking, daf105paccar and 062 Thank this.

Hi there! I would like to know if you're still answering questions about warranty repairs....specifically for a 2020 Pete, 389, with MX13 motor

As a fellow Peterbilt employee I agree to some degree I have found that the Cummins engines give more Trouble than the Paccar but the Paccar emissions give more problems than the Cummins emissions. I also agree with the extended warranty but I suggest extended base as well because there is several several items that is not covered under aftertreatment that is covered under base.

Doesn't the Paccar engine use the Cummins aftertreatment?

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.

Cummins Emissions Solutions builds a large portion of their system, but it's Paccar's design.

    AModelCat Thanks this.

Yes if a have a peterbilt 579 2018 but I’m over my miles in warranty would you have a good company to purchase a extended warranty from I see a lot of horror stories I’m a small owner operator already spent 10,000 dollars on repairs in my first year of owning the truck don’t also want to get ripped off by a no good warranty company

Save your money. 3rd party warranty is a sham.

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.
