2018 Cascadia Cruise shuts off when transmission shifts up/down

Having sn issue with cruise on a 2018 Cascadia. Trans is auto DD12. No matter what speed, cruise shuts off each time the transmission upshifts or down shifts. The cruise is on, no code faults. Econ is turned off completely, and all restricting settings for cruise I have seen are turned off. Also there's no driver interaction when the problem occurs. Brake and Jake switches have been ohmed and resistance/positive and ground tested ok. Monitoring of speed seems to be working fine. No issues with speed sensors. I've Ran out of things to look for mechanicly or in the software/ecm settings.
If anyone has come across this before/has any idea what would be a setting that can be changed or could share on the fix...i would greatly appreciate any assist. In 38 years OTR...never had any truck automatic or manual trans do this without any driver interaction.
