I saw a few of the Spanish speakers using these long bars in Houston one day.

Do u have pics ? With a 6ft bar, I think u could get enough leverage to slingshot you to outer space if you ever let go of it

 

Never dawned on me either it was holding the dunnage. I thought someone was just bored and being a smart donkey!

 

I didn't on this load I'm on now because it's all banded. However, normally, yes.....every layer. At the end of the day, you are responsible for what is on your trailer. So you gotta do what you feel is right. Nothing is one size fits all and there is no one way that is right. To each their own.

There was a Conestoga up the road on the shoulder. He was messing around on the passenger side but I don't know how they would have came out over there, it's a right hand curve.
