Well my understanding of the bypass is that you can't just plug it.
They actually sell a bypass cover that you put on to it. My transmission is oil-cooled not antifreeze cool. So that may be a different story with an antifreeze cooler.
I was told that if you're not traveling Long Haul and you're not over 400 horsepower that you can bypass it but I was told not to put plugs in. They said to use the actual bypass cover which costs like 10 or $15.
