Lot's of hype on both sides.

The only way to turn it around seems to be to reduce the stress on the health care system. Pretending that stress doesn't exist is a fools errand.

Lots of virtue signaling in the form of complaining about virtue signaling also. :)

Pretty interesting video about obesity and otherwise poor lifestyle choices and the severity of Covid on those individuals. Also talks about how obesity, smoking, and other poor choices lowers the efficacy of the shot. Also includes a clip from 2019 of Fauci saying to focus on diet and exercise to avoid catching infectious diseases. And before someone watches the first few minutes and claims this guy is anti-vax many times he says if you are obese and have other high risk factors you should get the shot to hopefully lower the severity if you catch Covid.

The media knows that fear sells. So whether it's the virus or a hurricane. They try to get you thinking the worst. So you'll click or tune in to be "saved."

Remember the news reporter? Not long ago. Standing in the "strong" hurricane winds. Trying to not get "blown over." He got busted on live TV. Because a couple walked by, behind him, having no issues with the wind.

Just another example of how the media will push a narrative. That helps them get ratings. Cuz that's how they make their money.

Pretending it's caused by covid, when the numbers don't pan it out is a fools errand.
Yes we need to relive the stress. Maybe by not firing health are workers that don't want to take experimental drugs would be a start.

I already answered. Lack of people due to getting fired.

Also, if the stresses were new, why did my neighbor quit being a nurse 30 years ago because she was tired of being overworked?
The only thing new about the hospital employees being overworked is the news coverage.

P.S. The answer to your question is also based on the numbers you don't care about.....

The vaccine does not keep you from getting covid or spreading it. It is designed to mitigate the symptoms somewhat. Even now they are saying it wears off in time. Covid has a 98-99 percent survival rate. The normal flu was killing 60-100k people a year yet nobody raising hell about people not getting the flu shot. Btw i am vaccinated but it was my choice. Will your employer take responsibility for your life if they make you get the shot and you die from it?

How to talk out of both sides of your mouth 101.

"The vaccines fully protect you from the virus. But we need to mandate the vaccine. To protect you from the unvaccinated." SMH

Not a fan of those mandates. They certainly don't help.

    Your neighbor sounds lazy.
