Truck driver charged with criminally negligent driving causing death

Goes to show that no matter what frame or how much engineering a vehicle has, a transport truck will steam roll them.

 

That is why I can't figure out the idiot drivers that blaze down the interstate at 90 in the left lane and then feel the need to match speed with the 80000 pound truck in the right lane as they creep by 1mph faster taking a full minute to get past. Meanwhile traffic backs up 10 deep behind them until the truck they are passing now needs to get over to get past Prime. Then a couple of the passing cars will get in front of the truck. Maybe that's how we got that picture above.

 

That dump truck collision happened about 1.5 hours away from where I live but I didn’t see the October 2020 news about It until this post showed up.

 

Looks like #50 Hwy between #7 Hwy and Bolton, Ontario to me. James Dicks yard is on 50 north of Bolton.

 

I’ve said it here before, one thing the old instructor at the school I went to said that always stuck with me, “the worst day of your life will be when you’re distracted and you look up and realize you’re not gonna stop in time“.

That is one thing I always do. I am always paying very close attention to what’s going on way the hell down the road in front of me. The biggest problem is the #### four wheelers change lanes in such a way that they take away your spacing that you’re trying to keep. It annoys the hell out of me. They change right in front of it and then they start braking.

me too, trucks do it too though. They pass at 65 and then once over do 70. I am governed at 70, now what do I do?
