A load of onions going to a Walmart DC. Scaled going in empty, check in, bump the dock, got loaded, scaled out (legal) checked out, an hour and fifteen minutes. Now I get to sleep in and drive 655 miles a day the next 3 days. Life is good.

Dropped in Wytheville, than picked up another gatorade going to Memphis, dropped that on the yard, and picked up a dollar store distribution load dropping in Duncan,Ok.

Once I dropped that yesterday, was told to bobtail to Us express in Irving, and grab a reefer,to take to Forrest City.

Just a heads up,we won't be using the Us Express yard anymore,we have a new yard in Dallas.

    Lonesome and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

I saw Abilene is building a terminal or drop lot off I95 near Savannah. Big lot in the clearing stages with an Abilene sign.

Yes they are. Apparently they are going all out with this new short haul fleet.

Yeah, they have A LOT of drivers on it. They keep advertising it, but supposedly aren’t hiring anyone else for it.

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

    Short haul fleet what's that?

You know they could have the courtesy to call driver's that have been here years first.

That's what I'm talking about, with communication, you have new drop lots, and terminals going up,and you can't even be bothered to send out a message.

Lonesome, JohnBoy, jarhead0311 and 3 others Thank this.

I’d much rather run Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho and NW Canada then getting a daily dose of Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville and that Godforsaken I-81 through all of Virginia. I see Atlanta once every 2 months and I get ill.
