I'm scheduled to deliver Friday morning in Clackamas, Oregon and pick up the next day/Saturday directly across the street from the reciever.

Anybody know of a spot around Clackamas that I could park for about 24 hours. If not, where would you head to?

Neither customer allows parking on site nor on the road.

    Thanks

If you get there after 3 pm I suggest using reserved parking.

Depends on how close you wanna be. There’s plenty of travel stops and rest areas 1-2 hrs out.

Jubitz in Portland or PFJ and T/A Petro in Aurora. If it's early in the day you can try the 2 truck stops in Troutdale, but they really fill up fast.

I've always been able to find parking at Jubitz but I-5 through Portland is a real PIA.

You don't take I-5. From Clackamas take I-205 N to the Airport Way East exit. Turn left on 122nd. Turn left on Marine Drive. Enjoy the scenery - Marine Drive offers the Columbia River on the right and Portland International Airport on your left with thousands of broke down RV's and homeless encampments for your viewing pleasure. Take a left at the Plaid Pantry. Take a left on N Vancouver Way. Jubitz will be on your left.

FYI, I found a spot on satellite a few blocks east of my delivery that showed trucks lined up along the southside of the road.

I came over here, once I was empty, and fell into an open spot in the line.

About a 1/4-1/2 mile from where I'm parked, there's a cafe in a converted old house that was built around 1915.

It's called Dean's Homestyle Cafe. The Ribeye breakfast was on sale for $14. So I got that. Good sized thin breakfast steak, three eggs, hash browns, and sourdough toast. Thumbs up.

I'll be eating back in there again tomorrow before I pickup my outbound load headed for Virginia.
