    "If your trucking takes you through Delaware on Interstate 95, you'll need to find your way around part of that highway where tractor-trailers have been banned.
    The Delaware Department of Transportation earlier this week announced tractor-trailers are barred from using the northbound lanes through a construction zone in Wilmington.
    DelDOT on Tuesday, Sept. 21, said that from Interstate 495 to north of the Brandywine River Bridge in Wilmington, only two-axle vehicles and buses are allowed to use the north lanes of I-95. DelDOT said the restriction is meant to reduce the number of truck crashes in the I-95 construction zone.
    Since the beginning of the project in February, almost two dozen crashes involving tractor-trailers have occurred in the construction zone, according to DerlDOT. The project, which includes the repair of 19 bridges, the roadway, and several on- and off-ramps, will take years to complete. "

    Hmmm but the cars that usually caused the crashes are allowed?? Sounds like Delaware is becoming just like California and truckers should boycott the state....

    495 is the bypass around Wilmington. You ain’t missing much that construction just absolutely messed up the flow of traffic way better off taking 495 if you’re going thru. Still think it’s stupid they’re banning us.

    I don't know man I prevented 3 or 4 accidents yesterday that would have been caused by truck drivers being ####ing stupid.

    For some reason guys think flashers and brake lights means change lanes and hammer down instead of maybe see ehats going on.

    I could literally watch them acting ignorant in mirror as I was coming to a stop. That and the guys playing on their phone oblivious to traffic slowing and wouldn't even look up for my air horn for the f

    Oh i agree theres plenty of #### heads driving trucks, but i also know truckers aren't the only ones causing the accidents.....
