One of the security officers at the cape told me how to tell if the fuel was leaking: "you will smell something like rotten fish, and then you will be dead a couple minutes later." LOL
But he said that mostly he dealt with gators in the parking lot at the assembly building.

Sounds like Hydrazine. Neat stuff. Used in rocket fuel, F-16 Aux power units, and to treat sickle cell...

Hydrazine smells like ammonia, didn't think it smelled like rotten fish.

It has been described as having a "fishy, ammonia smell" in several of the MSDS I have seen. I have smelled it as well. It wasnt EXACTLY ammonia...or fishy to me...hard to precisely describe. I was on an airfield in the vicinity of a fighter with a leaking epu fuel tank.

You have to tell them how to do their job here. How to dispatch? How to get payroll right? How get maintenance done? Home time is an issue, unpredictable, maybe it's on a Saturday/Sunday or Monday/ Tuesday or Thursday/Friday. In the end they steal from your check ( I'm supposed to get paid for Effingham to Richmond, KY to Jonestown, PA , then Baltimore, MD to Mississippi, then Mississippi to Decatur, IL) only thing on my check was Richmond, KY to Fredericksburg, PA. I'm a civil person but they aren't honest.

I was going to ask the same question as Hazmat and reefer do not mix, while there is nothing to stop one from hauling a hazmat load after unloading some chilled freight, it is going to be a problem if they have to reload with chilled produce say like fresh fruit or vegs. I hauled chilled, ( reefer) for close to 5 years only once did I ever load hazmat, that was a load of engine oil, so not really that bad I suppose unless a bottle sprung a leak.
