Easiest question ever asked on TTR.

Short haul dry van out of Central Point Oregon or flatbed out of Connecticut are The Zenith of trucking by anyone's measure.

The only tiers I'm interested in is being in the one identified by Bernie for not paying their fair share. Be the best in the field you love. Make the most, pay the least. That’s the name of the game.

It’s surprising how little the armored truck guys make, especially since they’re usually armed.

Probably like to hire real dumb people that don't have the ability to figure out how to abscond with all of the cash. Those guys would be real easy to find. Down the street at the nearest tittty bar flashing Benjamins to Da' Hos

I found running refer I was on the graveyard shift about five days in a row and then I would slowly swing it back to a regular daytime shift and then Bam I’d get sent on a load that required me to run graveyards. The cycle never ended and I felt tired all the #### time. Lots of backing in the tight docs in the moonlight to guide you with not an inch of spare space after you had been up all night. Three 4 AM in the morning. Out of hours, where are you going to park after they unload you?
You’re tired, you climb in the bunk, two hours later you feel them finally starting to unload you. Then you got to deal with the lumper check, then the lumper gets the check and he takes an hour to bring you the receipt. Then you have no hours and you have to go on PC a mile from downtown Atlanta at 3 AM in the morning to try to find somewhere to park. Lol that’s how I remember reefer

Lol, yeah it's like that sometimes. I can deal with most of that, EXCEPT the #### lumpers. They suck, always have, always will. Someone in another thread said they are the last hold out of dirty trucking from the 70's. I believe it. The lumper system is corrupt to the core.
