You should document every phone call and who you speak with.
Have you used this time to get a better job?
    Endorsements, company research.
Most companies are not checking DAC, if you have a pulse you are hired. I just changed jobs and they didn't even give me a road test.

Frankly I would have left long ago.. Tell your company to put you in another truck or you're leaving, but if my best advice would be to leave anyway.

If you decide to leave document everything in writing, have it notarized and send your letter by certified signature required mail. This way the company cannot claim job abandonment.

If you have 2 years driving xperience and live in the northwest. Have tanker and haz endorsements. Theres a tanker company out of missoula montana thats hiring for 6 figures. Run the northwest region. No tanker exp required.

Ypu should of quit a long time ago. And quit being scared of DAC. The only companies that use it are the bad companies you don't want to work for.

Last guy I hired had an abandonment on his DAC. Company left him stranded in FL in the summer for 10 days with a shut off fuel card, couldn't even fill the truck to keep the APU running. Then had the bollocks to call it "abandonment" when he went home. I thought three days would have been generous.......

Don't even tell them you quit. Just keep collecting that 75$ a day and get a new job. When they call and tell you truck is ready tell them you just quit. Why the ####in####idtyfrick would you sit around for 2 months
