How bad is it? How much worse for a guy who's never been in the northeast or a big city?
Thanks
Bronx Market, how bad is it for someone that's never been there?

Been there: done that: it’s not too bad; just make sure you have some cash on you. There used to be a $25 entry fee years ago… I haven’t been there for years… lol

I pulled van back in like 08-09. I went to the produce market one time with a load of watermelons Memorial Day weekend. I don't remember it being bad at all. I do remember following the signs back to the interstate and got lost. I think I remember a white truck driving around the market trying to catch drivers who were idling......

Also to add...to get to the produce market, its pretty well marked. Just follow the signs on the interstate. There was a fee to get in, I don't remember how much.

You'll do fine. Hunts is easy to get into. They'll be signs all over the place just follow them

Keep an eye on your truck/trailer. Used to be lots of low lifes walking looking to steal anything. Your first clue might be them carrying 2 load locks !

Believe it or not the Bronx/Hunts Point area is very truck friendly. Lots of room.
