The borough of the Bronx is the only one of the five boroughs of New York city that is connected to the mainland .
Be sure and take a sightseeing cruse on the circle line while you are there.

Always check your 5th wheel lock before moving your truck.

Nowadays, drivers have to be looking out for the cordless cutting tools. They can cut things bolt cutters could never fit around. Watch for your doors swinging open while driving away from stop signs and red lights.

Bs on all the market gonna get robbed wannabes .
This fish market, meat market and produce market are surrounded by a 14ft razor wire fence and security patrolled with controlled access.
I've spent weekend's at the meat market with no issues and they are some dam good pizza and Chinese places that will come in and deliver right to your truck .
Never once had a problem there coming or going .

If you've never been to the Northeast or a big city I'm not saying you'll have problems but it's a different world.

I haven't been there in so many years so I can't help you with directions or any of that but New York is generally a place with not alot of room and the people drive like maniacs in a way you've never seen in your life. You will have people that will literally pull in front of you if they only have one inch, and you may have to do the same to be able to navigate to where you are going. In New York you often have to be aggressive to be defensive.

My advice is really make sure your route is planned out extremely well. Also, none of the bridges in New York are marked correctly for height.

And traffic is absolutely insane. If you can get in early and get out early that would be best. During normal traffic times it's usually gridlock. At least it was when I used to travel up there.

And every time I went up there at 2 or 3 a.m. there always would be the Chinese guy delivering fish in the E350 van with the wheels wobbling ready to fall off doing 35 miles an hour. Every time.

    I'm sure you'll be fine.

The middle of the night at Hunts Point is a lot busier than it is during the daytime in the market from my personal experience. Dont get comfy if you slide in under the cover of night because the place can be an absolute madhouse when you pull up
