I took the permit violation Oregon, they missed the permit in the system.

I don't do Oregon so don't know how that works, but had a similar situation in Kentucky. I put a new to me truck on the road and forgot to add it to my KYU inventory and he got popped at a weigh station. It was $180 ticket if I recall. I had the driver scan and email it to me, then put a check in the mail the same day. Never did that again LOL.

 

So you are right below Warren Buffet on the Fortune 500 list .. so your willing to take it in the ### for your boss man and he is willing to reimburse you for taking 1 for the team even though he has the permit ???.. I guess money is no Is object at your company .
But yet you come on hear asking for advice and get the same basic good answers from members .. and you are still willing to roll over and take the fine.

The ticket should go to the motor carrier, not you. You’re not the one who had to post bond for the permit and you’re not responsible for reporting the miles.

 

I was under the impression that a paper copy of the OR permit was no longer necessary to carry, it being checked electronically now. Is that not correct?

 

Which for many people, money is just like the toilet paper, its hard to come by these days...doesn't wipe as good either...
