If I were an otr driver, this would infuriate me. Casey’s truck stop in Independence Iowa.

Reserved is reserved... Doesnt matter what is parked in it. Looks like locals that pay to park every day.

Cowboyrich Thanks this.

It kinda looks to me like they are just parking their 4 wheelers in there to hold the spot. I've never seen a Casey's with paid parking. And there are no signs indicating reserved parking or anything.

shooter19802003 and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
I don’t support any truck stop that has reserved or paid parking. Maybe twice a year I end up having to pay for parking. That’s usually because I pull in somewhere that I didn’t realize charge and a few hours later after my clock has run out I get a knock on the door. Lol
I support loves over pilot flying J etc based on their parking alone. -
I pay a $100 a month for a reserved spot at the truck stop in my hometown, when my big truck isn’t there, my pick up holds the spot.

That Casey's doesn't have paid parking unless they just started that this week I stop there quit often. I was just there Sunday
BigTizle, shooter19802003 and Kyle G. Thank this. -
I guess I could understand a truckstop renting out certain parking spaces on a long term basis to make some extra money, but I would expect to see some kind of signage indicating they are reserved stalls. I guess I will ask them next time I am there.
BigTizle, shooter19802003, alds and 1 other person Thank this.
