Finally found a tilt steering column for my 94 t800. Prob is with the brakesaver lever it looks like everything may not fit. Does anyone have one with tilt with the signal brakesaver and manual air brake handle all on it. Or were you not able to get a tilt steer in these years with all three on the column. I’m gonna be pist if so cause I was pumped to have tilt!

I'd bet very few here know what a brakesaver is.
Sorry, but I've got no answer for ya.petefan4000 and BoxCarKidd Thank this. -

I worked on all kind of trucks and engines from 95 until last May, and never saw another one.
I was so dumb at that time, I never even knew how how they were actuated.
I assume they're actuated either by air or 12V, since he mentioned there was a switch of sorts on the column. If so, it would definitely be possible to fabricate something to hold a switch or lever on the floor. -
Lol. The brakesaver has a switch on the dash and a hand valve. You guys are over thinking this. I just want someone who knows if this extra manual handle fits on the tilt column. I’m not fabricating anything. It either fits or I’ll sell the two tilt columns

A person could use just the switch rather than the shorter handle under the trailer brake handle, but then the retarder is full on or off without the ability to add just what is needed like can be done with the handle.
@Mr79W900A , I can't help with your KW. Our 379 has tilt wheel, but the retarder handle/valve mount under the tilt mechanism on the steering column, just like the one on our 378 with no tilt. -
Oxbow Thanks this.
