I drove for JK for a few months. Good people, good equipment, and decent money. Too many midwest short loads for me so I moved on. I was on the Michigan board.

Been trying to get on with CDJ but I'm outside the hiring area. Saw, talked, and ran with quite a few of their drivers when I was on with JK. All seemed happy for the most part. Equipment looks good also. Check and see if you are in the hiring area. Seems like they only hire out of the southern and maybe some midwest states.

If in the Tampa, FL area don't work for Daniel Mullins Trucking unless you like working 12-14 hrs a day for peanuts. (9% to start...yeah you heard right) And don't ask for a day off or get sick because "they have loads to cover" And they wonder why they can't keep drivers

How can he advertise that his company drivers are making 63K-75K at 9%? I know he has a nice fleet of trucks, but I also see their adds on craiglist week after week.

I know a few drivers both current and past. They're averaging 45-55 a year. I don't know who's making 70k but no one i know. If they are They're working 6 days a week 65-70 hours plus whatever bonuses they scrape up. You won't make 63-70k working 5 days a week. Period

I imagine those ads will stay up until they raise their pay significantly or go out of business.

Exactly. Or run out of drivers. Between going thru them and quitting when the pay is that low, and word of mouth, I wouldn’t think it would take long for them to have to do something.
