I was hired quickly orientation was ok not as hard as others I've been to,from there everything went downhill and fast. The 1st trainer I was assigned to wanted to be called Big Daddy Bling Bling I'm a female driver and I refused to call anyone that ,then he brought up something about friends with benefits I thought he was joking with me we did a couple of long laid back loads then went on to the tyler terminal he told me to meet him back at the terminal at 530 am. The next day when I got there he was not there so Jake the dispatcher had to call someone and ask if I could ride with them so then a guy named Joe showed up he told me not to do anything because I supposed to do paperwork 2 days he told me he was a millionaire and only driving a truck because he was raised to work hard he told alot of crazy stories throughout the day some funny some not funny then the next day he was off so I had to get up even earlier at 400 am. This day I rode with another driver he seemed like he was in a hurry constantly it didn't bother me at first because I had been trained at another company and already seen plenty of load racks they weren't much different he complained about only being paid 45 dollars a day to train and said he didn't really want to run a trainer truck because he would not be able to do as many loads so when he would run over and start the load arms he would type everything in really fast and hit enter so fast nothing would stay on the screen long enuf to see what it was I was told I had to train 3 weeks so I thought I had plenty of time I was more concerned with making sure the correct load arms were hook to the correct compartments I think he done t his on purpose because everyday when we would go to the yard he would hang around there until I left he would often talk about being broke and in debt his brother in law was a dentist t he other a preacher i felt sorry for him because he seemed worried about keeping up with the Jones for his wife whom worked as a school counselor this was annoying because he was always sick and could have had covid and refused to test .I already knew the basic operation of tanks so I figured we were just trying to get these loads as fast as possible a couple of days went bye everything seemed fine other than he would talk bad about some of the other drivers and always hung around that tyler terminal till I left then 4 days went by .Bye then I could do everything without him but apparently thet is not what he was telling the boss .That evening when we got to the terminal the lead dispatcher was on the phone with a guy telling him he would have to wait 3 weeks to train I heard the man tell the dispatcher he could not wait that long in the meantime I left but my trainer stayed behind as usual about an hour later I got a call from the terminal manager asking me to meet him at the office and I was fired for safety violations. I asked him what they were and he could not answer then he changed his story and said that I wasn't catching on fast enough he asked me to tell him the core 4 and informed me I didn't know it when I answered the question correctly he said it was another reason then he changed the subject and asked me to go to my room and get 2 shirts and bring them to the yard it was only 3 miles so I told him. to wait id be right back i agreed and asked him to have a termination form ready when I got back not a sole was in that office I checked the restroom went outback and called for him and noone was in the building or on the property but nothing was locked so I took the shirts back with me I wasn't going to leave them and get charged out of my pay later I took them and made him sighn a statement saying I returned them I had already read the reviews on the company by then I know I was fired to make room for another trainee I figured they are getting reimbursed for training people with the coronavirus and all .if anyone knows let me know its a real crap company with alot of real brown nosing among trainers and some of the men want to feel like real men and don't want women working there I wish I had known about it beforehand I never got that termination from either or an explanation that was true all this was after 5 days training I'm not the only one from what the indeed reviews say I'm not the lady who pays for her groceries then stands in the way putting her change in her purse I step out of the way to do that I'm not lacking in the common sense department either I was one of the best drivers as far as safety was concerned at my last job I haven't had any saftey points anywhere in the last 3 years but I've only been trucking 4 years I started at maverick they give everyone points lol. The trainers seem to be competing for trainees then they gripe about training pay alot of brown nosing and alot of false safety violations I would recommend anyone that wants to haul fuel stay away so you aren't listed as a safety hazard don't waste your chance here something else will eventually come along

Well, FTR, I wouldn’t have insisted you call me “Big Daddy Bling Bling”.

Big Daddy would’ve sufficed for me.

the dispatcher sent us on a fake load and when I would go to the box to start to start the load arms it would not give me an option to select diesel or super because there was no allocation so we would walk out the gate and call dispatch they would say go to the next load so then I would have to unhook the diesel arm and super arm and hook up the other unleaded arm all the time they were taping me telling delek that I was hooking the load arms wrong the whole time holding all the other trucks up each time we would try and get that fake load they think they are smart but I have them figured out does anyone know what the motivation would be for them to waste their time doing this crap please let me know

For whatever reason, right or wrong, justified or not, the company decided they didn't want you. There's not much you can do about that unless there were clear violations of the laws concerning employment.
Learn from the experience and move on to a company that's a better fit.
