Thanks. That is how I’m leaning but there are things about L.A. I really like and I have friends there. Luckily it’s only a couple hours away.

Hear that new law passed in LA?
Gotta be vaccinated to go inside any building or some such nonsense, it’s going to be crazy there

You're going the opposite way of everyone else.

LTL pays well but be prepared for a drop in your standard of living. That money doesn't go nearly as far in CA as it does in Tennessee. Also, CA has around a 9% state income tax for the income level a typical LTL driver makes.

Lastly, I've done some driving out there, many areas of Greater LA and def San Diego were not built for big trucks. Alot of the streets are narrow and turns are tight.

Also, there's no mileage pay. CA drivers are paid by the hour, period.

Exactly. By the grace of God, I escaped The People’s Communist Republic of Commifornia last year. I paid a healthy exit-premium for my Uhaul too. Why would anyone want to move to a place that is flooded by foreigners daily, has increasingly high taxes and cost-of-living, high crime and violence, more homeless than the rest of the country combined, rolling electrical blackouts, and no water?!
