    Without disclosing my pay, if I were to get into trucking, it would not be a major pay cut... Your friend works at a level 12 facility. I work at a level 5. BIG difference in pay between what your friend at Atlanta ARTCC makes and what I make... HUUUGGE.

    Find a small town and get on with a local contractor.

    I know of several general contractors whose owners are out at anti-mandate protests all the time. They will fight this bull#### right to the end.

    Well, I won't know if I don't try. And there is plenty of precedent and case-law that say contrary. Examples abound over employees being wrongfully terminated for EEOC violations and having their employment reinstated and receiving back-pay. The only difference here is, the whole COVID thing is new territory for the courts. The lawsuits are already happening, we just have to be patient and wait for it to work their way through the system. Courts may rule the E.O. is constitutional, they may rule it is not... we simply don't know yet.

    My issue is the fed government, as an employer, has made it abundantly clear to us that should your accommodation NOT be granted, we will be fired in less than a month.

    A guy I worked with for 15 years lost his best friend of 45 years since kindergarten. He was healthy but had a fatal heart attack in the bathtub last week . He died unvaccinated because his second shot was only 7 days old . One way or another we will know the truth within a few years. I’m hoping Both sides are partially right in their choice.

    So very sad... I am sorry for your friend's loss. So he had received both shots, but wasn't considered "fully vaccinated" according to the CDC's definition, correct?

    My stance is this: if it wasn't in the original employment contract then get bent. Not one employer has ever asked if I'm up to date with all my shots, why should this be any different?

    Yes, yes it is. It sucks donkeyballs that it's come down to this... but we HAVE to, we MUST take a stand at some point! If we don't, they will continue to erode our freedoms. They have been slowly chipping away at our freedoms for years now. But ever since COVID came along, our freedoms are in a nosedive. Trust me, I DON'T want to do this, but SOMEONE has to! This tyranny has to be stopped. Here we are, nearly 250 years after the founding of our country, and once again, we are fighting for our freedoms.
