I've been sitting in Gillette WY since 1pm yesterday. Started out as a nice day in Chamberlain SD. Made cup of coffee and took off. Came to box elder to get shower and it started raining/windy. I was thinking to go 212 thru Montana but saw there was accident blocking all lanes. Decided to stay on I90 thru WY since there's truck stops here and phone service.
Road was slushy and only saw 2 plows going eastbound. Lady at weight station said road is closed at Gillette...interesting concept -they keep weigh stations open but won't maintain roads ###########.
It was just wet road with and falling slow was melting on the road. I got to Gillette and its closed. Went to truck stop here I Gillette and waiting for ####ers to open road. I was looking in cams yesterday and it was clear to MT border
I hate this god #### state. Indian shaman put a curse on this state for sure.

Take 59 to Broadus if it’s open or 14 around to Sheridan.

I’m on the other side of the mountains in Buffalo

Got here last night and was surprised both 25 and 90 were shut down. Coming from Sheridan wasn’t bad at all

Montana 90 east of Bozeman was pretty rough but over there they just said to chain up and go for it

Looks like 25 is open at least to Casper but not sure further south. Wyoming maintains their website almost as poorly as the roads. I’m going to sit till tomorrow morning

    NavigatorWife and SoulScream84 Thank this.

Sitting in Sheridan at the moment, spent the night in the port after coming from Butte. The wind mixed with the ice is why I figure they shutdown here even though it seems like they got less snow than the Tobacco Roots did.

    NavigatorWife Thanks this.
