If you were to ever get in a wreck with visors on your truck that limit your visibility
the lawyer will say that if you didn't have them the wreck wouldnt have happend

Or, when you hit the car in front of you from having the sun in your eyes, they'll say it wouldn't have happened IF you'd of had a visor! :biggrin_25525::biggrin_2559:

Then you wouldn't hit the car, because there wouldn't be any sun in your eyes. Want to keep going??? :biggrin_2559::biggrin_25522:

What if you loose your sunglasses? :biggrin_2559:

Sorry, hubby's got a pretty sweet visor, and I'd hate to see his face if the DOT told him to take it off. :biggrin_25513:

15% is very easy to see out of. The window tint laws are for LEOs "safety", not the drivers. I have a 50% ceramic on the windshield of my car. Technically not legal but you can't tell it's there.

I tinted windows for over 20 years. EVERY cop that gets a vehicle done wants limo. That's 5%.

I noticed that. And in some areas, theres rarely any clouds, so theres more sunlight, period. But...You'd think that having a dark tinted windshield like the border patrol out in the desert would make it kind of hard to see at night. Shrug, never driven a car with front tint. Wanna hear something funny? One of my cars is from california, no tint, but the factory blue sun strip at the top of the windshield is faded to yellow. I thought it was made that way until i got my 1990 (same make/model), and a little checking, and that car never was made with a yellow sun strip. LOL.

That makes no sense whatsoever. In michigan, its legal to...

Drive a semi truck or cargo van that just plain doesnt have back windows
Use those murals that make the window look like a picture from outside, not possible to see into, but possible to see out of
Use 2.5% VLT tint on back windows

Doesnt sound too safe to me.

Same reason not all cars and trucks have rear window defroster strips.
