Could be/ I was saying across the street about the trailer situation. Seems crazy high; last week the dealer I bought those matched Transcraft steps from 4.75 years ago told me I could likely get what I paid for them if I put them on consignment. I keep my stuff nice but that was not what I expected to hear.

Look up La Carreta when you are down there.There are a few of them and they are all good but my personal preference is the one on Bird Road/40th st SW.

 

Yeah lots of imitations out there but people like myself of Cuban descent raised in Miami can tell right away lol.

 

Authenticity means a lot. I want the genuine article not a cheap knock off

 

I’m sure there are Cubans in Ohio but outside of Miami and south Florida you’ll only find a few here and there.

 

One of the key ingredients of a Cuban sandwich. Lechón asado of course this is a lot more than one would make for sandwiches but the seasoning and the methods are very similar.For a small group of people I would do a Boston Butt or Picnic roast. The one in the pic I made last Christmas Eve at my wife’s grandparents house in Miami.The hog gets split down the middle and then seasoned.Once finished the head is cut off and disposed of and the skin comes out very crispy on the rest of it.

 

Well I got the fake Cuban down here. Just a pressed ham sandwich... Got me ready to fight someone
