Not a whole lot relevant to my specific inquiries are there, I've checked.

As long as you don't mind the guy with the personality disorder who's made several different accounts over there and starts rumors about companies and unions folding, sure. Lol

Who is also allegedly collecting a pension while being psychotically anti-union.

It must be quite the balancing act in that brain.

Don't write them off until you've talked to the local terminal. Every area is very different.

    1) NO, there is no "on-call" if you are hired as full-time. NOW, you have to be careful here as IF you get a bid that has "NG" behind it, then that stands for Not Guaranteed----as in the run is NOT GUARANTEED to run everynight (or if it's a daytime P+D route, it MAY not run everyday). HOwever, even with an NG run, it's not terribly likely you would sit a lot based on my experiences.

Not all runs are NG and most aren't. The niteliner runs are usually never NG. 800 series runs could be, but usually aren't. 900 series could be, but usually aren't. Most P+D runs i've seen are not.

    Everything is terminal dependent.

    2) No company 401k match.

    3) Depends on terminal. Official starting is $17.40hr/.50 mile. There is, however, a good chance you'll start at $28hr and .72cpm cos we can't find no one.

    4) OT is after 8 or 40.

The bottom line for linehaul at t-force, and likely at most LTL carriers is that you have to be able to stay awake at night and sleep properly during the day, which i don't think is practical.

The "managment" will likely get on your case if you take too many naps, but they can't do crap about it and they know it. (We recently lost a federal case)

Other than that this is/was the best job ever and i was grossing $1400-2000 per week. The only reason i stopped is because of the sleep thing.

i guess the real bottom line is forget about pay, 401k sitting around etc.

The real bottom line is that if you can consistently/reasonably stay awake (never risk it irregardless what i'm telling you) and show 'em that you can and will run, and will run safely, then they will run your a&*^ off.

But the key to all this is sleep. Can you do it? That's the REAL question, not pay, sitting around or 401k.

Another bad thing is that we recently knocked the trucks back down to 65mph............."because everyone else was doing it."

Yes, that was the exact reason used-----"because everyone else was doing it."

I'm especially happy to hear for someone who works directly for T-Force and on a personal note, I've been working nights from 9pm to 8am for almost 14yrs. so sleeping throughout the daytime is not going to be an issue for me.

Also, thanks for the heads up perspective on the, "NG" runs. Seeing how you've also added that, "niteliner" runs aren't usually NG runs, provides me with another incentive to apply. Regarding the no company 401K match, do you think that T-Force will keep the pension, or renegotiate with the union and replace the pension plan with a 401K?
