Pending on the type of hair test will determine how far back into your history they will go. Seeing it's trucking probably the cheapest one, which is only a few months. But there are hair tests out there that go back years! Those are typically used in the higher academic echelons.

 

Drug tests are funny creatures. There are numerous variables that determine whether you pass one or not.

A request for a hair test can also be a sort of psych test, just to check if you submit to it. They test you by asking, yet there's no actual test. While this can filter out heavy drug users, it also filters folks who value their rights as well. Kind of a double-edged sword.

never heard of a company doing hair tests.. what makes you think they don't care about weed?

 

I would have thought they would be more concerned about whether you can drive the truck or not. Now I know where all those people in trucks that can’t drive them came from. They passed the drug test.
