I need a box truck for my business, exact size doesn't matter as long as it has a lift gate. But I was thinking... I'd love to get out and see the country as well, maybe doing a few runs a month.

Is there a best size / capacity / type that shippers prefer for maximum flexibility? Should I go older to avoid DEF and elogs?

Should I go with a courier company or figure out how to get my own authority? (sounds way harder)

Is this the stupidest thing you've ever heard? Is it doable? Please point me in the right direction.

I already have a class A CDL so that's not an issue. Also have an LLC already.

Don't quote me, but I think 26ft is the standard box truck size. Essentially you want the size of those big Penske trucks or find a former FedEx one with the sleeper.

Before you jump in, I'd double check your requirements. If you carry freight for others you are " for hire" I'm pretty certain that requires different insurance than what you likely have now.
