I guess I want to start a thread to help new owner operators out on what tools some of us use, what parts we keep in the truck and what we use for maintenance.

    Husky 200+ Socket set
    Assortment of tools
    3/4 Cordless Impact Gun Milwaukee
    Lucas Red N Tacky grease
    Alemite 555-E grease gun
    Garmin Dezl Gps
    Zip ties
    Duct Tape
    Super glue
    JB Weld
    Silicone
    Wheel Chocks
    Brake Adjustment Tool
Dual Chuck tire inflator with Gauge
    Spare Air hoses
    Spare Acc belt
    Spare radiator Hose
    4 gallons extra coolant
    1 gallon oil
    Nexas Diagnostic tool
    Spare Tire
    Spare Brake Can

List what you think every Owner Operator needs to have in his truck to try and minimize down time, tow costs, and other on the road issues.

Addendum to your sockets, carry both standard and metric.

Also full sets of standard and metric wrenches.
    1/2" breaker bar
    PB Blaster
    Vice grips in various sizes
    Torx bits
    Tamper torx bits
Cordless drill w/ extra battery (mine is Dewalt and works great), and cobalt drill bits
    Hub oil
An assortment of electrical supplies, various connectors, various wire, stripping and crimping tool, electrical tape, heat shrink...
Carry an assortment of driver bits and your drill can double as a power screw driver, saves a bunch of time.

You would be AMAZED how often offering to misplace a pack of smokes makes sure you get called into the shop if someone happens to sleep through their alarm.....and how often offering a carton ensures you happen to end up worked between trucks in an emergancy :p

Also defuses a lot of tense situations if you happen to have a non damageing oopsy moment
