Hello everyone,
We are a brand new startup company on the east coast, named New Wave Carriers. This is also a brand new account, I would like to say it's a pleasure to meet you all and hopefully one day in the future we may do business with you.
I want to inquire to you all your experiences with hiring an independent dispatcher, as a startup I would prefer a guarantee for work to kickoff. This would be slowly phased out over time given we all have experience in multiple fields in the industry. I myself have plenty of sales experience so I have no worries with shippers. But I would prefer to have some immediate work preferably regional. We will have 3 drivers, a diesel mechanic, and an accountant. Your expertise and opinions will be much appreciated, also if you have specific company suggestions this would also be extremely helpful.

Get someone in the family to help you out. Your wife or someone that can. If you are only a single truck or two you are better off not wasting any money on dispatchers. Its not that hard at the end of the day.

How much experience do you have in this industry before you established your business?

Oldest guy been doing it for 15 years and us 2 younger guys for 5 years.
