@Tall Mike R&J probably isn't your cup of tea, i've seen you through the years on this forum and you've always driven some "large" rides, R&J is far from that. Not to say that it isn't a good suggestion, but they have pretty cookie cutter equipment, I run in and around a bunch of their southern trucks "southern haulers", and they're nothing to look at :)

Yes I am still alive. Yes I know I've been MIA for a good while. It's a long story that I won't get into right now. I used to work for Southern Haulers back in the day when they had "large cars". When R & J bought them out I left and went back on my own. Yes I am still trucking, dump trucking and in the same area just not seen as much.
Glad everyone is doing OK and still here. Happy Trails to all. I will be back soon.

Good to hear from you @NightWind I haven't been up your way in months, sometime back around April I made the decision to come off the road if I could, so far it's worked out pretty good. I'm still in the same truck but now I get to go home everyday, I stretch out up to Macon, basically anywhere within 5 hours of home, so the days are still long but at least I'm not having to sleep in that truck every night. Hope things are good for you, tell the folks at ES&G I said hello, I do miss seeing them.

Man today was a day lemme tell ya. If any of you gotta haul tea leaf compost make sure you either have a liner or a sheet and if you go to A1 organics in colorado check the ground carefully. I nearly rolled because the ground caved in and my load was one giant ball od compressed failure had to shovel nearly half my load off and offload on a steep hill to get it off. Need a new seat to replace the one missing a giant bite out of it now too from when the ground caved in :p and yes my boot is actully inside the hole left its that deep and i have 17 extra wides.

That sounds terrible @Arctic_fox what in the world do they do with tea leaf compost and where does it comes from?

Salt salt and more salt is what’s happening with me. We took salt to Linn MO today then went to St Louis and loaded fertilizer. If you ever load fert at Oakley in St Louis it’s awesome. That loader is right on, quick and the gal in the office is so nice. I’m training a new hire this week and we were checked in, loaded and out in 28 minutes. Beats the heck out of some of the times I spent at Port of Catoosa.
