Possible stolen trailer?

I have seen this exact trailer in the same spot for the last 3 weeks. Nobody takes it and it just sits there.
One trailer door is open and it has some reefer fuel left. My dad thinks it's probably stolen and it was abandoned here.

There is no company name on the trailer but there is a license plate.

I find it strange that it hasn't moved a while. I thought maybe I should call the cops but I don't think they will do anything about it.

Any suggestions or should I just mind my own business?

Edit: I checked the ownership which was still with the trailer and saw it was leased to some AMG global company out of Brampton. I searched the company online and found a number. It turns out there was a WhatsApp number too, so I sent a message. Got a response almost instantly.

Although I'm very suspicious of the reply. Let me know what you think.
