It's an idea of mine to check them out once I get my cdl... What's it like driving for Gemini motor transport? Do they only run tankers or do they also run van trailers? Do they run local, regional or otr? Do they run out of Florida? What's the benefits and home time like? Do they accept applications from Florida?

You talking about loves fuel haulers?
They won't touch you without 2 years experience.
I have a year, and they won't touch me either, and I've been hauling fuel for another company.
Plenty of other gas haulers out there that will hire noobs... try eagle transport.
Gemini is local, fuel tankers only, that I know of.
Tough to get on with them, but those who do stay until they die.

I've heard that they will haul new drivers fresh out of school. @HiramKingWilliams can you confirm or deny that?

Most of their work is local fuel hauling (daycabs), but they do have some regional DEF and propane work, and I assume their dry van work is regional as well. They also have a few OTR fuel haulers. As of right now they have Florida openings in Jasper, Ft. Myers, and Tampa.

Because it was me that started the thread? Knowledge can lead to a good decision... I've already decided on what I'm planning on doing when I get my CDL: become a route driver for Coca-Cola (side loaders/van pups up to 35ft)

I've seen their guys unloading tires from the dry vans, but I have no idea what else (if anything) they carry.

Gemini will hire new cdl graduates. But its up to the Regional manager to bring you on board or not.

Refined division is gas/diesel with def and bio diesel being a non slip seat home weekly. Instead of the normal 10 to 14 hr p/day slip seating like the gas/diesel guys do. But most drivers try and stay for the 5yr bonus then quit. Im actually surprised that they still offer it after so many took the money and ran.

There is liquefied petroleum hauling that use to fall under the crude division. Before Gemini sold off all there crude oil equipment.

YOU DO NOT WANT TO WORK IN THIS DIVISION!!! ITS RAN BY SHAWN. A FORMER DRIVER THAT KISSED BUTT ALL THE WAY UP TO THE POSITION HE HAS NOW. THE 5 YR BONUS IS HIGHER IN THIS POSITION. BUT SHAWN WILL WRITE YOU UP FOR B/S AND GET YOU FIRED LONG BEFORE YOU HIT THE 5YE MARK.

The dry van division hauls tires and equipment for the tire shops behind loves truck stops. It is solid labor because you will be the driver and the unloader. I dont recommend you do this either.

DEF is sleeper and home weekly but we fuel haulers do the BIO too. I like those loads. Although they smell like an old lady pissed on a cow turd.
