    Greetings,

I purchased a 2013 Mack Granite Day Cab. My plan was to put a Dump Bed on it. Because of steel and labor shortages there is a 2 - 3 month wait. I was considering running Fraq Sand or maybe loads off the DAT Board. I am in the process of upgrading to a Class A CDL. just need to take the skills test and Pre Trip walk around tests. I'm paying a lot of money for insurance and feel I need to get this truck working for a couple months. My problem is I don't have the 6 months - 2 years over the road experience most places are looking for. All of my commercial driving experience is in Wreckers and Dump trucks. I own a single axle dump truck and drove wreckers for the past 8 years. I've got workers comp and general liability insurance through my construction company and $750K liability $30K comp and collision insurance on the Mack. I also have had a DOT number since 2003. I'm gonna take the Class A tests in my own truck.

What else am I going to need to do to put the truck to work? Any input would be appreciated.
    Thanks

@Chinatown is correct. This thread will get some good answers in our Owner Operator section, so I'm moving it to that section.

Todd71106, REO6205 and Chinatown Thank this.
